Dee Dee Simon (Just Dee Dee Simon) born and raised in East Oakland, Ca has been singing since the age of 4. She is known locally for lacing rap artists' songs with PHAT HOOKS, Da Hooker. Her music is Hard Core R&B where the lyrics hit and soothes the Heart. Her single "Grown Ass Woman" does just that. Dee Dee Simon has opened for KBLX Stone soul Picnic for over 19,000 people with Chaka Khan, Charlie Wilson, Lakeside, Cameo. She also opened for Jill Scott's Group Kindred Soul. She won the Bay Area Black Music Awards top Awards "Best Female R&B Artist and the "Verge Award" Her last achievement that she is dedicated to is becoming an ICON.
