David Lear is an Americana Balladeer with original songs of Folk Roots , Western Rock, Cowpunk & Bar Blues. He sites influences by John Prine, Johnny Cash, , Eric Burdon, John Fogarty, Lucinda Williams & other thoughtful and insightful creators. He can be seen performing solo acoustic or fronting his band The Nob Hill Billys. His material is downloaded internationally thru iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Deezer and other online stores. The feature film "The Odd Way Home" starring Rumor Willis included 2 Lear original songs "Slow Year For The Corn" & Old ABQ (a song written for Willie Nelson to record). His book "Elgin Farm" is available at Barnes & Noble, Amazon & other book outlets. He has performed throughout U.S. cities as well as France, Czech Republic, Spain, Mexico. He was invited to perform at Ozone Songwriter Festival (New Orleans 2018), Third Street Songwriter Festival (Baton Rouge 2019 & 2020). Won Editors Choice Award by "The National Library of Poetry" & other poems have been featured in various publications. He has a history as singer, tunesmith, musician, producer working w/various musical acts including The Nob Hill Billys, Thrasher Cadillac (recorded his song "Albuquerque Calling"), Rattletrap (recorded "Thrift Town"), The Que, Lazy Brad Lewis Band (recorded song "Ain't Enough Tequila") Faith River Worship (recorded Heart of Darkness & Pain"), F-Word (featuring Dim Wanker), Tom Parsons & Drifters Luck.
