Cool Missy

Cool Missy is a singer-songwriter based in Oshawa, ON, Canada, creating a fresh take on modern alternative folk pop. Blending intricate acoustic strumming with dynamic, soulful vocals, her sound channels the storytelling attitude of Julen Baker alongside the powerful, melodic warmth and power of Phoebe Bridgers.

Currently, Cool Missy is channeling their songwriting abilities and creative drive into a new alternative folk pop inspired album.

In addition to her solo acoustic act, Cool Missy leads vocals with the energetic local Oshawa hard rock band Section Overrun and performs vocals with the band Tunnel Vision. An active body in their local scene, Section Overrun recently headlined shows across Oshawa, and performed at Cobourg Pride. They have also been nominated for the DREAMS! Awards best emerging artist/ band of the year 2026. Cool Missy got to organize and host a successful all-female artist showcase in Oshawa.

Backing their artistry with industry expertise, Cool Missy graduated with a degree in Music Business Administration in 2025 and was accepted into the Canadian Musicians Co-operative Pre-Professional Summer Program in 2026.
