Closure

Closure, Belgian metal band made up of 5 guys was born in 2002 but took its full magnitude in 2006 with the last remaining member, and also founding member of the group, Kevin Lerminiau. 2010 has been an important year for the new line up. The group finalizes its first album and is at the same time looking for the recognition of its elder companions. Early 2011, Mikey Doling (Snot, Soulfly ...) spots this new band. As new guitarist of Channel Zero, he invites Closure to open Channel Zero’s act in Brussels at the Ancienne Belgique. At the same time, the band is willing to work with a professional structure. Mikey Doling impressed by their performance proposes to produce their first record. In April 2011, Closure records its album The Silent Witness March at the Noise Factory (Namur, Belgium) under the direction of Mikey Doling and Gérald Jans. Beginning of May, Logan Mader (Machine Head, Soulfly, Devildriver, Gojira …) and Mikey Doling mixed and mastered the album at the dirty icon studio (Hollywood,Ca). Closure’s compositions are mixing progressive, melodic and aggressive structures to lyrics talking about humanity’s faith and human feelings. All 5 members come from different horizons but altogether, each with its own experience and emotions, they are making what Closure is meant to be.
