Chris Titchner

Chris Titchner started making music while growing up in Vermont. His college band, Three Mile Limit, played colleges, bars, restaurants, and busked on street corners for several years before coming to end as various members got real jobs. Titchner followed that by forming a duo with cellist Ana Jesse. They performed sporadically and released two albums before he moved to North Carolina and she joined a convent in the Bronx. In North Carolina, Titchner has come into his own. He regularly plays up and down the east coast. His album Moving Day benefited from a college radio campaign and was named runner-up for Best Folk Album in the Independent Weekly. 2020 finds Titchner releasing a long awaited new album. Already Gone is a 13 track album that was produced by Chris Rosser at his studio in Asheville, NC. The album spans a wide variety of arrangements and topics with horns and strings fleshing out songs about relationships, dirty politicians, super villains, and even the devil himself. Recently two of the songs from the new album received Honorable Mention in the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest. Once described as The Seinfeld of Songwriting for his ability to write songs about life's minutiae, Titchner's songs and strong vocals make him an artist worth checking out.
