Catawampus

In 1988, Tingo Lee and Joel Crisp were playing drums and bass for Paul K. For fun they started jamming with Rob Olsen and Dean Whitlow, banging on metal and playing tapes and turtables backwards thru a delay etc. This became Red Fly Nation. After Red Fly ended in 1990, Joel formed Catawampus. Line-up changes occurred throughout the 90's, but so did 5 CDs. Catawampus Universe ended in 2002 after recording "Anticipation of the One", produced by Parliament/Funkadelic's keyboard magician Bernie Worrell. Parallel bands that contain Catawampus members are Lily Pons, Club Dub, The Prayers, and many many more.
