Having a deep love for all that is music and extensive travel throughout China, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East has blessed him with the opportunity to study and play music from many different cultures.Studying from such great masters as Changuito, Billy Moore, Kenny Clarke, Tony Columbia, Efran Toro and Long John Oliva. Casey worked with the Universal Studios Hollywood band Tropical Wave for 12 years, played USO shows for the troops in Iraq, Germany, Kosovo and Bosnia, produced his own recording projects like Devil In the Canyon by Raygun, Roots Raga Reggae by Alternate Roots, The Natives Are Restless by Das Beat, Big Yards "Don't Worry Be Happy featuring Einstein Brown,and the popular single Reggae Soul Train feat Tafar Watkis! Casey held down the drummer chair in the popular world beat band the BONEDADDYs for 12 years recording 3 albums with them and landing their song Waterslide in the movie I LOVE YOU MAN! Currently playing drums for the band BETTER CHEMISTRY who have landed a major distribution deal with TUFF GONG International whose latest album premiered at number 11 on the Billboard Reggae Charts and just released a brand new single called I CAN'T STOP THINKING ! Currently playing with the roots reggae band INTENT with original members of Messenjah, Steel Pulse and Big Mountain this band is tearing up the reggae scene wherever they play!! Casey was a full time member and vocalist of TROPICAL WAVE the island band at Universal Studios Hollywood for 12 years! Casey has been playing steel drum now for quite a few years and is a regular at the Ventura Harbor"s steel drum music series as well CARIBBEAN NITES every Wednesday at the Warehouse in Marina Del Rey from 5 to 8pm, Glen Ivy Hot Springs, The Spanish Hills Country Club, The Montage Resort,The Del Mar Plaza, The Queen Mary, The Rosewood Miramar in Santa Barbara. Over the past few months he has released a number of original songs with his group PAN ON DE RUN with the R&B flavored song SWEET EASY FEELING just released on all streaming outlets worldwide! Casey has been band leader and musical director for groups like Spliff, Ray-Gun, Alternate Roots , Pan on De Run and Das Beat opening up for reggae greats Toots and the Maytals, Jimmy Cliff, The Wailers, Barrington Levy, Don Carlos, Third World, Mutabaruka, Sly And Robbie, and legends like BB King, Jr Walker ,The Rebirth Brass Band, Fishbone, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Tania Maria, The Motels, The Gang of Four, Billy Idol, Leo Nocentelli, and many more!! His passion for world music is quite evident in his playing as his rhythms and sixth sense is uncanny. Casey’s versatility as an artist is clear whether he’s playing Reggae, Latin, Calypso or Jazz, he rocks! He’s worked and recorded with with some of the greatest including Joe Cocker, Etta James , Tupac Shakur, Dave Shafran, film composer Michel Columbier, jazz legend Eric Gale, Reggae dancehall legend Sister Nancy, Tippa Irie,Yami Bolo, world beatniks the Bonedaddys, Spiritual, One Drop Redemption, composer Earl Robinson, Linda Hopkins, Seal, Robert Greenidge, Indeya, Papa Michigan and Shinehead , Empress Akua, Margaret Young, Planet 10, The Floyd County Boys, Albert Johnson, Costa Rican composer Luis Munoz & Pelin, Marty Steele, The LA Desperados, Einstein & Sapadilla and held the drummers chair for 20 years for Jahmark and the Soulshakers! Bandleader for SPLIFF one of the very first reggae bands in California in the 70's before reggae music was popular with the late great vocalist REGINA WILLIAMS!
