Brandon Wayne and His Lonesome Drifters

Brandon Wayne & His Lonesome Drifters are a powerhouse quartet whose high-energy shows collide classic country, rockabilly, hillbilly boogie, and western swing, mixing standout originals with deep-cut covers, often featuring twin guitar instrumental solos. It's dance music, plain and simple — don't expect to stay seated once they hit the stage. Frontman Brandon Wayne's salty-sweet twang, while unmistakably his own, has echoes of Hank Williams, George Jones, and Faron Young. He's joined by Charles "King" Arthur (guitar, steel guitar, vocals), Matias Camino (upright bass, vocals), and Nick "Powers" Schrenk (drums). Their sound is a swingin’ celebration, rooted deep in the music of mid-century America. Country, bluegrass, and hillbilly songs are the soundtrack to life in the hills and hollers of Central Virginia where Wayne grew up. He came up picking banjo in bluegrass bands before strapping on an electric guitar and stepping to the front of the stage. That journey from the porch to the footlights is exactly what you hear in the music. It’s raw, rooted, and alive. Across the globe, a thriving rockabilly scene brings fans together for some of the most electrifying festivals in the world. Brandon Wayne & His Lonesome Drifters have quickly made their mark, earning invitations to premier events such as Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend, Rockabillaque, Rockin' Race Jamboree, Eastside Rockin' Rumble, and High Rockabilly. Along the way they've shared stages with Nick Lowe, Los Straitjackets, Imelda May, Darrel Higham, Lee Rocker, Chuck Mead, and others.
