Bone Davis

Bone Davis is a keyboardist, singer and songwriter of funky, down-to-earth quality who has played with the likes of B. B. King and the late John Entwistle of The Who. His musical career represents a journey into the past and future, in terms of both genre and bold, new hybrids. “Bone” and his namesake band, Bone Davis, give you the listening experience of blues and hip-hop, with touches of reggae and Latin spice, accompanied by several musicians of choice to flavor the sound. Guitarist and songwriter Roderick Bailey has been playing guitar since his early teens, and has played in bands and recorded since his late teens. A graphic production artist by trade, and a resident of southern California since 1998, he has been active in both the Santa Barbara and L. A. music scenes. Boasting an eclectic musical palate, having once been a college radio programmer and made forays into DJing and solo Electronic/Industrial music, he has worked with and played alongside the likes of The Chambers Brothers, Jordan Zevon and the nu-metal band Snot. But Bone Davis has been his primary focus since early 2007, and he makes up the other half of its performing/songwriting core.
