Bobby Butler-song composer/guitarist

I started off playing guitar in a band in high school called "Burning Desire" and did shows at Toronto area community centers and some clubs with recording sessions thrown in. Met some interesting people like Lascelles Stephens who became the songwriting partner and husband of Deborah Cox who was discovered by Vassal Benford and Clive Davis. I also worked with vocalists Carl Ellison, Yvonne Moore and Jimmy Roland who did vocal work on my songs. I'm like Kool in Kool and the Gang, a musician/songwriter non vocal performer. I get my biggest kicks from songwriting.
