BLUES SISTERS (from RESPECT)

Hello Everyone! We are THE BLUES SISTERS (form. RESPECT). My name is Shoka Okubo. I am 23 years old. I sing and play the guitar. My little sister's name is Momiji Okubo. She sings lead vocals and plays Mississippi Saxophone. She is 20. We are real sisters, living in rural Japan. We love to play Blues, Soul, and R&B. I very simply fell in love with the Blues after watching the movie, "The Blues Brothers!" I especially admire B.B. King for his perfect singing and his character. I also admire T-Bone Walker for his intelligible style. My sister really loves Aretha Franklin. The Blues represents a distant dream for us, and trying to learn English makes it seem even more distant... But I can't give up, because that's what we like. Whew! The road to progress is steep and all we can do is do our best! We released some CDs from P-Vine Records in Japan, so please check them out!
