Bill Shuren

Bill Shuren is a singer-songwriter from Long Island NY who teamed up with his band the Cavalry in 2014 after the release of his solo EP The Gamble. The Cavalry consists of Charlie Drannbaur on Lead Guitar & Bill Shuren on Rhythm Guitar and Lead Vocals for drums and Bass Bill pulls from his large group of musicians called the New York Roots Music Association (NYRMA) where Thomas Ryan tends to sit in on Drums along with Steve Kaplan on Bass. In 2015 Bill Shuren & The Cavalry opened for Rascal Flatts at the Pennysaver amphitheater at baldhill in NY. Just two months earlier they had recorded the track "I'm alright"-a Bob Dylan cover that was edited lyrically by Bill Shuren and composed by the whole band to create a song that would later be used as the first single by Paradiddle records on their album "Bob Dylan Uncovered Vol 2" which was released in 2016.
