Barbiana Complex

Barbiana Complex is a Hoboken, NJ-based art/noise/improv ensemble featuring Barbara Solsky (vocals/guitar), Mike McCann (drums/percussion), Warren Kitt (bass), and Elliott Levin (sax/flute). Barbiana Complex has released a new recording, Sky View Mirror, featuring legendary guitarist Gary Lucas (Captain Beefheart/Jeff Buckley). Described by Chuck Eddy of Rolling Stone as "thick, sprawling, psychedelic fuzz goth," and most recently, by Jim Testa of the Jersey Journal as "dense arrangements of clashing guitars, freestyle solos, droning melodies, and...distinctive, quavery vocals," Barbiana Complex's latest release, Sky View Mirror, takes the listener on "an extended psychedelic odyssey."
