A Troubadour

A Troubadour is an artist, songwriter and producer in the tradition of West Coast, Americana, Country, Rock. Big Sky is a project written, conceived, performed and recorded by Pete Fry as A Troubadour. Big Sky is an instrumental album combining a mixture of live playing and samples to create a hybrid Country/Americana style. To produce these tracks, I have drawn upon my many musical influences, but have tried to stay within my Country/Rock roots to produce pieces, which conjure up the classic Americana musical landscape. I have consciously made Big Sky an instrumental album to try and allow the music to speak to the listener in a way that lets the listener's imagination provide their own commentary/imagery, making this a unique experience for each individual.
