Ashley Toman

The familiar saying "everything is bigger in Texas" comes to mind when describing powerhouse vocalist and Texas native, Ashley Toman. Born and raised in Houston, Ashley is a contemporary pop/soul singer-songwriter with an edge. The energetic songstress is quickly earning fans with her spirited vocals and energetic live performances. Ashley began performing at the young age of five and has performed at venues such as the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, House of Blues- Houston, Fitzgeralds, Warehouse Live, Red Cat Jazz Cafe, winner of the Mathew Knowles ICE Artist Showcase and finalist in the 'Best of the Best' ICE Artist Showcase and Springboard South Music Festival. Ashley recorded her EP last year in Los Angeles with singer-songwriter, Jimmy Nash and is currently working on a new project at Music World Studios. Ashley doesn't take all the credit for her drive, determination and passion for her music. When asked, she explains that her family plays an essential role in her story. "My dad opened for the Everly Brothers when he was a child, my great uncle played with the Tommy Dorsey Band and was signed to Capitol Records, my brother is professional drummer in Austin and my mom is the glue that holds the family together." Ashley attended Belmont University in Nashville, TN and recently graduated from University of Houston. Ashley wants to inspire people through her lyrics with a mixture of contemporary pop and soul in her music. Stay turned for her new project in 2015.
