AS FLAMES PURIFY

As Flames Purify are a 3-piece thrash/hardcore Christian band from Pietermaritzburg, formed at the beginning of 2007. They have played at various gig venues in Pietermaritzburg, Durban and Pretoria. Their track “Just Like Torture” was aired on the Barney Simon show (Radio2000), but it is their latest song “Covenant” which has everyone talking. The band combines intense time signatures with piercing thrash and hard-hitting in your face riffs, powerful, melodic vocals with aggressive screaming.
