Artificial Standard! From Wausau Wisconsin was formed in early May 2015. The band is young and forging its identity. Covers range from Pearl Jam, Lucero, to 7 Mary 3. Originals are in the works and which will allow the band to ween off covers and fortify the sound as to where the 4 members take the band. Matt Paulson Rhythm/Lead/Vocals definitely adds an element of edge with his lover for Grunge and definitely tends to lean the band in that direction. Adam Mansfield Rhythm/Lead/Vocals hails from the South and tends to lean the band in a southern rock influence. Matt Kassien or Lefty Lead Foot has multi facet taste in music from Punk to really hard rock and tends to up the tempo when ever possible i liken him to the first Guns and Roses drummer minus the heroin problem lol... Last but definately not least TJ Bid Daddy Johnson throws down a killer low end on the bass and always seems to fit no matter what genre the band directs itself to... It will be very interesting in the coming months to see where this young band will lead to... I do believe in many cases the audience tends to pull you in the direction that best defines your band... So look for Artificial Standard near you and help define this very young multi faceted band...
