From the suburbs of north Jersey he left years ago to bask in the sun along the seaside in California. Working with other musicians and and scraping out an existence, he worked for forty years. Good and bad times were had. Round about 2023 circumstances set him upon the road with two dogs and three guitars to explore the Pacific Northwest. Along the way he collected observations and turns them into stories and songs. His music is an elective grouping of old folks songs, bluesy-ish ramblings, and some originals that tell the tales of sinnin’, gamblin’, drinking, whorin’, cheating, lying, lying about cheating, love gained, loved lost, and general misbehaving. Performed either solo or with any group of people who’ll stand next to him on stage under the collective name “REDHEAD DARLING”, the songs are summed up as “stories of broken people, like me.” Come, join the circus.
