My name is Ademola Adeniyi Otto, I am a Gospel Music Artist with a passion to fulfil God's Call and help others find God's purpose for their lives. I am a native of Ilaje Ese Odo LGA in Ondo State in Nigeria. I attended Rufus Giwa Polytechnic where I studied Computer Science. Sometimes in March, 2000, I got saved and with a large vacuum in my heart, I sought to stay close to a church where I could serve. Then I secretely enter the Foursquare Gospel Church, Sabo where I still am today. I used the word 'secret' because it wasn't as though I was accepted to start sleeping in the church, it was indeed a secret until the then pastor found me out. My passion for music took another when I put an interdenominational music group I called, 'the seed', around 2004. We were more than 40 members involved. It was a great breeding ground for me, before I disbanded it, and then it evolved into Harness, which I now run as a ministry. I spent 9years sleeping in this same church, before getting married in September 12, 2009. Interestingly, I didn't go to my own house until the day after my wedding. (Laugh) I joined the the youth choir and then later the main church choir. As I write this column, I am serving as an assistant director of the Praise Connection Choir of the Foursquare Gospel Church, Sabo,Lagos- Nigeria, and the Technical Director of the Alaka District Choir. I have had to work with different organizations before deciding to call it quit in 2012, because there has been a call I have been ignoring but thank God for His persistence. My drive to help others spurred me, after I quit 'job', to put up trainings I tagged, 'Harness Music Workshop', where choristers could learn how to be better in song delivery, song writing, etc. I also run 'OpenMic', a monthly gathering for worship in songs, drama, poetry and Dance, till date. I am a song writer and a Producer with HAMP (Harness Music Productions). I am proud to say these roles of being a Music Producer, a Choir Director, a gospel artist, a father and a husband suit me. I am driven not to do great things for myself but to spur and help others do even greater things. I believe that as I submit myself to God and to the people He placed over me, I shall surely be better for what I have been wired to do. I hope you are blessed as you listen to my work. Thank you.
