The Second After

Emerging from a genre which has connected so profoundly with teens and young adults for so many years, yet also often regarded as stale and repetitive to outsiders, The Second After brings a refreshing and unique sound to Pop-Punk. The Second After was formed out of a group of life-long friendships in late 2014 in Durham, North Carolina. Their long lived passion for playing music together, combined with their dynamically intertwined individual backgrounds in such genres as Pop, Punk, Hardcore, Acoustic, Folk, Rock, and Progressive Rock/Metal make for an enticing take on the Pop-Punk/Easy- core sound. With deeply intricate and hard-thought melodies and harmonies, combined with “bouncy” and exciting energetic riffs, this quintet, featuring Michael Greason on Vocals, Jeremiah Greason on Guitar, Ryan McDonald on Drums, Nolan Shambley on Bass, Luke Dingfelder on Guitar/Vocals, is prepared to take their music scene by storm, and reignite a passion for a genre that has meant so much to so many. The group recorded and released their first single demo track in late 2014, followed by their first EP “Hit & Run”, released in late 2015.
