Currently Bassist for "Wallyboy and the Wild Bunch" an up and coming NYC based original music band": Currently Bassist for Rhythm Guerillaz: It's hard to believe what we have all been through in the last 5 or 6 years. Of course, with Covid-19 lockdown back in 2020-2021, like many of us, I was just stuck at home. A group of my friends and I began working on music remotely, just to keep ourselves from going nuts. We wound up coming up with a number of songs and we planned to release a series of EP's. This post was to announce "Please Take A Seat" as the first of the said series. New Album Coming Very Soon Earlier years: It was former Cult Drummer Lez Warner who crowned Even with the title "Bass Master General" after Jamming with Even at his weekly "No Wanka" jam at NYC's Danceteria/Rockateria (back in the early 90's). Even decided to give his own custom built Fretless Bass line the name. Thus, the name is all about the Bass. Even is Producer and Bassist for indie label, i-Potato Music. The label is currently restructuring and changing direction so stay tuned for an update. Latest i-Potato news: On February 29, 2024 Harry Slash & The Slastones released the first song ever to be release on Leap Day, "Good King Wenceslas" was recorded remotely featuring Harry Slash (vocals) Arno Hecht (sax), Even Steven Levee (bass) Lez Warner (drums) Thom Jack (guitar), Ross Byron (guitar) and Roxy Purple (vocals). The players were stretched out across the US in NYC, Queens, Las Vegas, and California. This is the first release of what will be part of next Xmas's newest release of songs written as early as 1847. You may recall Harry Slash & The Slashtones and the music they did for ECW wrestling. This is a bit of a different direction but heck, it's a Christmas Album. Oh, that reminds me, we just did a 30 second intro song for wrestler Sandman and his monthly pod cast.. Stay tuned, More to come..
