Sylvie McFarlane

Sylvie is a Scottish singer-songwriter whose songs reach the soul and then some. Her song writing reflects her Scottish roots and life near Glasgow This current journey began when Sylvie decided it was time to let her music be heard again after a long absence from song writing and with her long time guitarist David Brown, the pair began writing and recording. I write instinctively and then David comes along & critiques, changing where needed. We don't always agree but I appreciate the input from someone else. We record all our material at home, starting with demo on Ipad & then graduating to full recording & mastering. The pair under Sylvie's name released an EP Moving Pictures in 2015, an album Life 2016 & singles Moving Pictures (DJB Remix) and Pass It On both in 2016. Their songs came to the attention of publisher ConnectSongs last year who deemed them perfect for TV and film placement We are are enjoying our musical journey, we hope we can inspire others to join us and become fans.
