Men Without Armies

Hard rockin', guitar driven metal band Men Without Armies have a gift for connecting with their audiences' emotions. The comradery that the trio bring to the stage, ignites spontaneously into an all consuming metal contagion, once Brennan Dylan unleashes his unbridled musical passion with his guitar. The press compares Dylan to Steve Vai, Joe Satriani & Jeff Beck, with the guts of a big wave surfer, his guitar work being a unique fusion of rock, metal & neoclassical, unloaded, without the use of FX &/or pedals. When brothers Thomas Wingate (bass/vocals) and Riley Wingate (drummer), start throwing their weight around, fans can never get enough. The band is a face melter, with screaming guitar fused to gripping metal riffs & melodies that stick in your head like oatmeal does to your ribs. Dylan composes & produces the music and Dude Diablo writes the lyrics. The single “Strapped & Loaded” has a double meaning, which Dude wrote to help give Dylan's mom strength and courage in her battle with cancer. “Crash ‘n Burn” is all about Vegas, while the title for “Fast Life in Hollywood” says it all. “The Gun Show” was written to help bring awareness of those living life inside of our inner cities, to those living, the great life in places like Manhattan etc. Pure rippin’ metal has been coursing through Dylan's veins since he first picked up a guitar, at 14. That's not to say he only studies metal, as nothing could be further from the truth, he strays from the herd, which is a basic artistic necessity for him. To his thinking, no one artist or genre has a monopoly on ideas. Besides, thinking outside the box has always worked well for him, in fact, he found the Wingate brothers outside the box and what a great dynamic those two bring to Men Without Armies. So what's next? Plenty. Men Without Armies always has pushed out a steady stream of videos and that's not going to change. The lads always have a video in the can ready for release. The band's recent photo shoot is getting the traditional make over before being pushed out over social media and Dylan is currently scouting scrap metal yards with the band's photographer, for another shoot.
