Edmond

Edmond, a pop-rock group from Cádiz based in El Puerto de Santa María that began its journey in mid-2011.  He began to take his first steps with the union of its four components: Ignacio Vela (voice and guitar), Sergio Zaragoza (guitar), Juan Luis Monge (bass) and José María Millán (drums).  During 2011 they begin to develop their first compositions, in search of an identity that defines the group. A mix between pop and rock, a mestizaje between the British and the American are his letter of introduction.  At the beginning of the year 2012, Edmond enters to record his first EP, "Arrived from another Universe", in the SoundMe studios, recorded and mastered by Toni Martín.  During this year, Edmond begins to mature as a band and prepares new compositions to complete a wider repertoire to offer in their concerts.  A year later they record their second EP, "Mi gran plan" is a work of seven songs, recorded and produced by Fernando Vela in the studios of the group, a project that reflects the progress of the band since its inception.  In January of 2014 they signed a contract with the record label Cubica Records. In 2015 the group dissolves, leaving only singer and guitar. After a break of a year and a half, Ignacio and Zara, decide to resume the rehearsals with the idea of ​​re-composing and re-creating the band. After trying several drums and bassists, they decide that Zara, an electric guitar, will play the bass, and with the appearance of Jose Maria Guillén, who joins to play the drums, they re-assemble the group's bases. In the middle of 2017, a second guitarist, Nacho Gómez, joins the band, with the idea of ​​obtaining a more powerful sound and offering more harmonies in the compositions. During 2017 and early 2018, they rehearse and begin to develop new compositions that reflect on a new album. In this case there are five songs under the name of "Regeneration", recorded in the group's studios during the months of April and May of 2018. At the beginning of June, they edit and distribute their third EP with the record company Cubica Records.
