Deity of Destruction Band Biography Deity of Destruction was established in late 2013 by sisters Amanda Ozuna aka Mandy Sixx (Bassist) and Ashley Ozuna (Piano/Keys) along with their Father Johnny Ozuna as Band Manager. Mandy Sixx at the time 11 years old and Ashley 16 years old were looking for musicians around their age. After a long journey, a lot of hard work and a few band members later DOD was complete. They found DFW’s finest young musicians and Deity of Destruction has become what it is today. Deity of Destruction’s founding band members are Mandy Sixx (Bass) and Ashley Ozuna (Piano/Keys). Original band members are Matt Mayhem (guitar), Milo Mount (guitar), Asher Roberts (drums) and Harley Sharrock aka Harley Storm (vocals). . All members of the band aide in the writing process. Songs are originated by each band member and produced by Jeff Mount at Session Works. Amanda Ozuna As a little girl, Mandy Sixx (Bassist) began going to concerts with her family, mainly her dad, Johnny Ozuna. Her love of music began and grew while going to all types of concerts including broadway musicals here in the heart of DFW, Houston and Chicago. Kiss, Motley Crue, Judas Priest were just a few of the concerts that she attended. Max Green, bassist from Escape the Fate inspired Mandy Sixx to play the bass guitar. It was then that she picked up the bass at age 7 with one goal in mind. That goal was to have her own band and begin a career in the music industry. Mandy Sixx has played many styles of music in talent shows and in other bands before Deity of Destruction was formed in 2013. Furthering her education in the music industry by continuing to study the bass, cello and song writing. As her dream progresses, the Beautiful Princess of metal rocks the stage with the thunder of her bass hitting the crowds. Ashley Ozuna The Beautiful Ashley Ozuna (Piano/keys) became a Pianist at age 9. As a little girl she would pretend to play her grandmother’s baby grand piano. In the beginning, her mother pushed her into playing the piano. Ashley quickly learned that sharing the amazing sound of the keys with the World and younger generation is her talent and purpose in life. Ten years later she has become a fine pianist. Ashley’s musical inspirations are Beethoven's Fur Elise and Venition Boat Song 30. No. 6 by: Mendelssohn. She has won numerous awards including winning state competitions. Ashley began her teaching career as a piano instructor at the age of 14. She is an amazing role model for the younger generations. No one can play Heavy Metal on the keytar with beauty, class and sophistication like Ashley Ozuna! Matthew Beard Matthew Beard “Matt Mayhem” (guitarist) is a self- taught guitarist beginning at the age of 12. Inspired by his grandfather and the band Metallica he taught himself to play the guitar with a dream at hand. Starting out by playing in the school marching band and moving on to play in various local bands. As a teenager Matt was seriously injured. He broke his neck and almost lost his life. However, his passion and love for the guitar gave him the motivation to pursue his goals and dreams in the music industry no matter what. Matt become a guitarist for Deity of Destruction in 2013. Matt has been an inspiration to all the young and old with his testimony. Once he joined DOD he became Matt Mayhem ripping and shredding bringing the crowd to life. Milo Mount Raised on The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and The Who Milo Mount (guitar/vocals) started out with the desire to be a drummer like his father. Milo was born into the music scene. As time went on it was Led Zeppelin and Jimmy Page that inspired Milo to play the guitar and changed his life. Other inspirations are his dad Jeff Mount (Producer) and his brother RIP Curtis. Milo is a self- taught musician. He has been in the music industry since he was old enough to hold an instrument playing on many stages drawing crowds. In 2014 Milo became the new guitarist playing “Buddy Blaze” guitars for Deity of Destruction. His excellent organizational and song writing skills have been a valuable asset to DOD. Milo plays his music ripping and shredding with such emotion that the crowd feels it flow through their bodies and occasionally smashing a guitar. Asher Roberts Asher Roberts “Basher” (Drummer) became a part of the DOD family in 2014. As a young musician Asher started out playing the guitar and bass guitar as well as other various instruments. Asher was inspired by the drums and began practicing. He auditioned for Deity of Destruction and made the cut. Over the next year Asher worked very hard to achieve the name “Basher”. Harley Storm Harley Sharrock (Vocals) is Deity of Destruction’s newest member inspired by Metallica, Van Halen, Joan Jett and Halestorm. DOD was in search for just the right fit for vocals. With beauty, hard work, great vocals, awesome stage presence and dedication Harley was just what the band needed to be complete. Harley Storm is a former figure skating world champion, guitarist, modern heavy metal and rock vocalist. In addition to her vocal abilities, Harley is a guitarist playing “Buddy Blaze” guitars. Harley has worked hard since 2007, and only at 15 years of age has phenomenal stage presence. Exclusively as Deity of Destruction’s lead vocalist, Harley feels the right combination of musicians are now in place to take over the world of modern rock music.
