AngelFlayeR

Angelflayer is a melodic death metal project founded by Heiko Lange, from Chemnitz (Germany), in early 2012. In April Heiko was contacted by Daniel Friberg (founder of Mordoroth), situated in Orebro (Sweden), via soundcloud.com with a request for cooperation. The start was The Devil And The Priest and they’ve collaborated since 14 April 2012 and are continuously working on new songs. Up till 2014 they’ve released 16 songs together of which 13 are their own and three are covers (Hangar 18 - Megadeth, There's something rotten in the state of Denmark - Illdisposed and The Immortal - Arch Enemy). The music is loaded with evocative passages, mournful chord landscapes and hard aggressive knockout riffage in which Heiko particularly excels with his magical solos. The lyrics concern social and existential problems and dilemmas as well as historical and futuristic fears - covered in a deep darkness. Multi-instrumentalist Heiko is the father of all songs (except covers) and master the art of audio engineering, mixing and mastering. Background members Both members have their roots in the thrash and death metal scene in the 90's. Heiko was riffing in Deface (R.I.P. 1996) and shared the stage with bands such as Gorefest, Unleashed, and At The Gates. Daniel growled through the early nineties in Shagidiel (with Mieszko Talarczyk (R.I.P.) on guitar, later in Nasum) and has opened for Candlemass. Influence Following are some of the bands that in different ways have inspired members of Angelflayer; Arch Enemy, In Flames, Amon Amarth, Illdisposed and Hypocrisy. All AngelFlayeR Tracks are no Productions for Hundreds of Thousands of Euros. All Tracks are Produced in Heiko's 4 sqm Home-Recording Studio in Chemnitz Mittelbach, with some good ideas, GuitarPro 6, a Guitar (Jackson RR) , a Bass, the Toontrack Metal Machine for the Drums, a Line 6 POD XT Pro and a couple VST plugins on Cubase, not to forget a really Mighty Voice from Sweden.
