Ask Yannis "The Loner" anything...
Q: Did you record these songs at home o in a studio? What software was used? Or is it analogue?
A: Most of the songs recorded until 2007, were recorded @ Sound Machine Studio (SMS) in Piraeus / Greece. There are songs that were recorded live @ SMS during a rehearsal or a live performance with bands I played with for a while (eg. -Multitrack: "A song for a dream", "Fantasy", "Everlasting Love" -LiveRehearsal: "Never Be The Same Again", " Tears In The Hands Of Time [guitar solo version]", "Smoke On The Water [latin - B Side]"...) Some songs were recorded @ R.P.N. Studio (eg. "Forever and Never", "Don't Ask", "So much left to say", ...) and some @ a friends home studio (IRom Studio) (eg. "Flying bullets", "Memories", ...). From 2007 until now, there are songs that were recorded @ 1. Peter's Home Studio (x-drummer of "Still I'm Sad" and "Shoot 'em Up") using q-base, roland electronic drums, Korg midi keyboard, my Taylor guitar and Ibanez bass and of course, a pod floor for guitar and a pod floor for bass (eg. "Tears in The Hands Of Time", "Funking down the jazz street", "Stonecold"...) 2. my Home Studio (2007-2011) using a boss 8-channel digital recorder and @ the final mixing I was using a q-base alike software (eg. "Each Betrayal Begins With Trust", "Blues In Am", "Mediterranean"...) 3. SMS (some live recordings - one track, some digital recordings and some multi/channel live recordings - multi tracks but LIVE!) (eg. "Payin' The Cost [live]", "Hold Me",...) 4. my Home Studio using this q-base alike software and all the above (eg. Shadow of a dream, WeatheReport and Terminal Station ALBUMS!) 5. "music Acoustic mode" home studio (m.A.m.) (eg. "Moonchild", "Lovestoned",...).
