Bio
Tiana follows no rules of style or genre, but instead composes from her gut and heart, letting emotion, chance, and a good ear decide the path of sound.
At age 4 Tiana was asking for piano lessons. Where this idea came from she's not sure, but she must have known it would be important to her future happiness. Age 5 she got lessons, age 6 her first piano. At 13 Tiana stopped her lessons and began exploring music on her own. High school brought choir and composition classes . Writing music on paper took too long, so she invested in a Roland piano, sequencer and Sound Canvas. During her early 20s production was nonstop. Styles varied from jazz to surfer rock, ragtime to country. She now likes to call it fusion.
About
Tiana Kaczor has been composing for almost 20 years as a hobby while she pursued careers in Visual Art and Teaching. However, in 2007 she decided to leave her job and enrolled in an Electronic Music Production program. Not wanting to find herself in old age regretting that she never tried to do anything professionally with her music, she has taken the leap now, and hopes to be soaring on to new creative heights.
Tiana's studio equipment includes a Yamaha CP33 stage piano, Cubase, Reason, Ableton Live, and the Native Instruments Collection. She also creates her own sounds to add to her libraries.
Tiana will accept commissions for music and visual art. Check out her website, www.tianakaczor.com for more information. Her focus is composing for film, and television. With her training in visual art she feels quite at home composing to visuals. She is also willing to work with new songwriters who would like to liven up the production of their songs.
