“Pieces of Mind raise £3,000 for cancer Charity. TWO fundraising concerts in Blaenau Gwent raised £3,350 for a breast cancer charity. Rock band Pieces of Mind marked their 50th tour with two shows in the borough. The first at Rhyd Hall in Tredegar was supported by James Alexander. That was followed by their final reunion gig, which was supported by ‘Now and Then’, at the Catholic Hall in Ebbw Vale – a venue that hosted the bands nearly 50 years ago. Between the 2 gigs, £3,350 was raised for ’In the Pink’ and Liz Sullivan from the charity said she was delighted at the amount raised through the efforts of the bands and the work behind the scenes from Rob Evans. Liz said ‘I’m over the moon with the monies raised, which will all go to Velindre Hospital to help them carry on with their research. All in all two great nights were had by all, with the charity benefiting’.”

Q: very impressive,67 who concert, top notch, just listening to next, cant think of a who record that didnt hold weight, i love mayall too, you guys didnt make a record back then? how many origsongs u ha
A: Hi, no we didn't make a record back then. Only recording is one done at a live gig, so it's very crackly. On our album, which we hope to release Jan/Feb 2015, four of the nine tracks are original. We are writing for the next one, which will all be original. We are putting some of the rough demos on here. Thanks
