As many of you already know, Marybeth Camp (or MB), the bass player for the band CHAKRAS, was involved in a motorcycle accident on May 24th. She sustained a compound fracture to her left leg, for which she was hospitalized for five days, has had to have two surgeries, and will need to undergo many months of physical therapy. While she does have insurance, the out of pocket expenses for her health care are going to be exorbitant. To help alleviate some of the financial strain on her and her family, so that she may focus on healing, the music community is banding together to throw her a benefit concert. This will be held on September 8th at J&B Tavern, in Mount Carmel, and will feature a number of the region’s finest artists (See below). As part of the benefit, we are holding a raffle and silent auction, all proceeds of which will go to the Camp-Hesselbrock Family to assist with said expenses related to the accident. Won't you please join us for this day of music, prizes, friends and fun? Admission will be a $10 donation at the door To make further donations, or assist in any way, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
