Salem performs Todd Anders Johnson's conscious compositions that blend funk, jazz and hip-hop. The band is actively working towards generating social awareness with the group's shows and current glacial awareness documentary that Todd has begun with Boise filmmaker, Charles Forest.

The group is well established in the ski and snowboard industry with sponsors like Libtech Snowboards, Folsom Custom Skis, Columbia Sportswear, Native Eyewear, Boulder Outdoor Center and Southeast Alaska Backcountry Adventures.

Salem has soundtracks in a Warren Miller film and trailers, has played at the Winter X Games and 48 Straight King of the Mountain, has a song in this year's X Games After Party CD Compilation and has worked with Bono's One Campaign.
