Kenny, a friendly, flirtatious, happy-go-lucky singer is also a songwriter, a poet (published in several books of poetry) actor, and rhythm guitar player. He has entertained audiences throughout western Canada for over forty years, both with club bands and as a solo act. Experience is the great teacher that has allowed Kenny to garner the large and varied repertoire that he uses to delight his audiences. His collection of both covers and original music has grown to the point that he has now produced five albums of original music. His music style ranges from country to rock with tinges of blues, jazz, and soul.
Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Kenny has lived in all provinces from Ontario to BC. In his travels, he has worked in many varied industries from the post office to an 18-wheeler factory. Being a poet at heart and an observer of the people and situations around him has inspired his music. His warm, melodic voice portrays the emotion and meaning of his songs and the lyrics. Like life, his compositions, often show the ironic twists that engulf his listeners in the stories and draws them in. His songs are about them, the workers, lovers, losers, and winners that exist in every town. Catch him when you can!
