Ray Beltran, now residing in Knoxville Tennessee, has been performing for nearly 40 years all along the West Coast from San Diego to Seattle with the occasional tour in the Mid-West and Southern states. During that time, Ray has had the opportunity to share the stage or open for Blues luminaries such as James Harman, Kim Wilson, Mitch Kashmar, Jimi Bott, James Cotton, Kirk Fletcher, Willie “Big Eyes” Smith, Eddie Clark (drummer for William Clarke & the Red Devils), Rusty Zinn, Johnny Burgin, Popa Chubby, Chris Cain, Kid Ramos, Roy Rogers, Mark Hummel, Billy Flynn and others.
A two-time attendee to the Seattle Superharp Showcase and former instructor of the nationally touring Jon Gindick Harmonica Jam Camp along with Dennis Gruenling, Richard Sleigh, Kim Fields, Jimi Lee and others, Ray's deep, rich tone and smooth phrasing describe his trademark sound while his versatility on the instrument allow him to blend different styles and genres while still staying true to the blues.
His current band consists of some of the finest and well-known musicians in the Knoxville and surrounding area are Jamie Meade/guitar, Jimmie D./guitar, Rick Lilly/bass, Dan Hollowell on drums.
