Showcasing her 7th independent CD, ‘Northern Lights’ on her current touring circuit and poised to launch her 8th album 'hope'. Prita’s unique sound is ‘Hip-Soul-Folk’. It combines her love of Hip-Hop, Soul and Folk with the use of a live loop pedal and effortlessly layers funky urban harmonies, acoustic fingerpicking guitar and beat boxing. Prita has been likened to a Beth Hart, Tracy Chapman and Norah Jones.

After supporting Simply Red & Marcia Hines on their last ever tour in Australia, Prita re-located to Europe Nov ’11, settling in Berlin, and has been busy touring Europe and the UK, releasing her 7th independent CD, ‘Northern Lights’, gaining airplay on radio stations, and reviews in the press internationally.
Prita’s unique sound is ‘Hip-So-Fo’. It combines her love of Hip-Hop, Soul and Folk with the use of a live loop pedal and effortlessly layers funky urban harmonies, acoustic fingerpicking guitar and beat boxing. Prita’s songwriting is both storytelling and Jazzy, with her big bluesy soulful voice and a natural ear for harmony;Prita has been likened to a Adele, a female version of Ed Sheeran and Norah Jones.
