Q: Patrick Lamb, How do you write? Do you write lyrics first and find a beat, or do you find the beat first and then create lyrics? Would you be interested in doing a short interview?
A: People write in different ways.. I typically write with a melody which gives me a vibe and a concept or feeling and indicated tempo/rhythm. Then I put a beat to it and the work with a keyboardist to give it more sophistication. After that I hone the lyrics.
