Mary Simoni is a composer and pianist. Her acoustic, electroacoustic, and multimedia works have been performed worldwide and have been recorded by Centaur Records, the Leonardo Music Journal published by the MIT Press, and the International Computer Music Association. Her work as a Steinway Artist explores extended timbral domains through live processing and performance techniques. She is Professor Emerita at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor (Performing Arts Technology) and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY (The Arts).
