Marawa is an instrumental power / tharsh/progressive metal project by Senad Marava, the drummer of the original line-up of the cult Sarajevo speed thrash metal band Bombarder. After leaving Bombardier in 1991, Senad formed a new band D. Throne, in which he played in Sarajevo until 1994, after which he continued to work under that name in Germany until 1998. After that, Senad formed RapidFire. From parting ways with D. Throne and Rapid Fire, he began composing his own music that was easiest to describe as power / thrash metal. He worked on the recording of the first songs alone ... he played guitars, drums and bass. He recorded one album "Gate to the Next World" in 2009, and there is a lot more material ... which will be found on the album "Devastator" on which he is currently working.
Importantly, the Marawa project is very active, and in addition Senad is actively working and playing with the German Thrash Death Metal Band Theodicy as a drummer with whom he is preparing a new third album.
