Bio
Kevin Davies is a songwriter, singer, and acoustic/electric guitarist living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. His music ranges from folk to rock with lyrical content that includes interpersonal relationships, historical reflections, humor, and political commentary. When not making music, Kevin works as a freelance graphic designer (print and web), artist (traditional and digital media), writer, and game designer.

TUESDAY NIGHT JAM with SECTION 8 R&B BAND
Every Tuesday after 9:30 pm (until the wee hours...), I can usually be found at Oriental Taste, 329 Queen Street East, playing my original songs at the Tuesday Night Jam with the Section 8 R&B band.
Each week I try to introduce at least one new original song to my set. I typically encourage any other musicians who feel the inclination to join in. It's always a fun evening of great music and interesting conversation. Food (Chinese) and drink (alcoholic or otherwise) are available at a fair price. Anyone in the neighborhood is welcome to drop by.
AD ASTRA CONCERT 2007 - LIVE RECORDINGS
The music currently posted to this page is from a live recording made of a concert of 16 original songs I gave on March 2, 2007 at Ad Astra, a SF convention in Toronto, Canada. On short notice I was able to assemble a backing band of some close friends that included Rob Greenway (drums), Graydon James (lead guitar, backing vocals), and Jim Timlin (bass guitar).
The inconsistent sound quality of the recordings is because they were taken from the audio track of a hand-held video camera movie of the event. It is my intention to post better quality recordings of my songs in the near future.
