Music without limitaions
We are Kamunique, a 5 piece band based out of Round Rock, Tx. Our original music has been categorized in various genres which include jazz, rock, latin, funk, and indie, all with a positive vibe. We like to think of it as World-Fusion. Our music/band is geared to be a showcase performance band but we also welcome family reunions, weddings, corporate/conference events, night club/lounge and upbeat party atmosphere venues for all ages. We have enjoyed playing our unique style of music since January of 2008 and have played at many venues all with positive feed back.
Kamunique has been featured in Balcony TV (www.balconytv.com) an online video podcast for acoustic music. We have headlined the Austin Kidney Walk Pre-Party @ Austin Tx. in 2011, appeared on "Generation Now Project" (project against child abuse) compilation CD/album in 2010, and Kamunique also was a featured band during SXSW 2013 with a standing ovation at the end of our showcase from those present and we also headlined the the 2014 SXSW showcase at the Backyard. In April, 2015 we performed at House of Blues in Houston, TX. We have also appeared in online Radio podcast shows: Tony Alexiou Show out of Washington D.C., D.C., and THE COOL EDDIE G SHOW (www.cooleddieg.com).
