Q: John Doe what an awesome song with a strong message what inspired such a deep song?
A: This song was originally written during the OJ Simpson trial. More recently was the Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman case, tons of coverage for political expediency. While almost everyday this type of tragic violence happens in someone's community. Sadly we largely ignore it. What does this say about us? That is what I tried to convey in the song John Doe.
