Javelyn, an award-winning artist whose music and voice shoot straight to the heart, while kicking one's butt - mixing melodic highs and lows to the funky beat of the street. Javelyn is a fresh, rising stars in the indie music world on the music scene, an artist for the life and times in which we live – Javelyn had rotation on 200 national stations for her song “Take This Chance”. She also is a three-time winner of the prestigious "Rockies" award for "Best Female Solo Artist of the Year" and "Best Folk Artist" from Rock City News (Los Angeles), Besides doing national radio, Javelyn has played extensively in and around Los Angeles, and done two small national tours. She performed in and hosted a popular indie music nite in L.A. called "Java With Javelyn Indie Music Nites, out of which she produced 4 compilation CDs with 8 song placements in films including a few of her own. Javelyn moved to Nashville a year and half ago and took a year off music just to enjoy the richness of other artist’s music. She was invited to a songwriter event at Johnny Cash’s “Storyteller Farm” and played the piano that Johnny toured with for 21 years. After that event, a fire burned in her to start a new event in Hendersonville, TN called “Songwriter Circle w/aTwist”, gathering local and touring artists to share their songs and stories. Recently, Javelyn has been tapped to host a show for QuaHZ TV featuring some of Nashville's most notable and fascinating people.
