Jason Moon is an award-winning singer-songwriter, keynote speaker, storyteller, and Iraq War veteran based in Payson, Arizona. His gravelly voice, flat-picking guitar style, and candid writing blend Americana, folk, acoustic, and blues with the intimacy of a trusted friend telling the truth across the kitchen table. After performing for fellow troops in Iraq, Jason returned home unable to finish songs for more than five years. His work on the documentary On the Bridge helped reopen that creative door and led to Trying to Find My Way Home, an accidental concept album about deployment, PTSD, moral injury, homecoming, and the struggle to become whole again. He later released Love & Light, a warmer collection celebrating family, connection, and the ordinary joy of being alive. Jason founded Warrior Songs, a nonprofit that transforms veterans' stories into music and creative work. His performances and speaking programs combine live songs with honest, accessible storytelling for conferences, colleges, veteran and mental-health organizations, healthcare audiences, government, faith, and community events. Programs range from intimate acoustic sets and story-and-song performances to keynotes, workshops, and facilitated conversations. His song “Trying to Find My Way Home” won the 2016 Global Peace Song Award, and he received the 2016 WAMI for Best Singer/Songwriter.
