Jarrod Sterrett & The Hired Guns are one of the busiest honky tonk bands in all of Texas. The band has had 6 singles on the Texas Radio Chart each one went to number 1 on cdtex downloads. They can be found every week on the road packing dancehalls and bars all across Texas, Arkansas, New Mexico, Colorado, and Louisiana .
Jarrod Sterrett is a "Real Cowboy" and a country boy if there ever was one. He grew up six miles from the closest town hunting and fishing and working with livestock (where they outnumbered people.) He started the band while attending Sam Houston State University in Huntsville Texas and honing his unique stage presence. His blend of traditional country roots, Red Dirt influences, and a honky tonk spirit combine to form one of the most entertaining shows in all of country music.
The band's current single, "Pasadena", is available on spotify, Itunes. Visit www.jarrodsterrett.com for more info and tour dates, and of course keep up with the band at reverbnation.com/jarrodsterrettthehiredguns
