jack housen is from claremont,calif, a small college town east of los angeles that has supported the likes of many artists such as david lindley,ben harper,jim morrison, the mountain goats,and many other artists and musicians. For several years now jack has produced his own recordings mostly in a diy homegrown environment. Here on his latest recordings, jack has continued to work with engineer,drummer,percussionist, jon crawford at his studio Multiverse Audio in claremont, calif, collaborating with several musicians but mostly with multi-instrumentalist john mcknight. jack has also worked with vocalists caroline dourley(window shopping) and brittany oneill (all other female vocal songs)singing his songs.
