Ian Quiet is an experimental/ performance art based music project started in Shreveport, LA in 2000.  After recording dozens of demo tracks and creating experimental/ ambient soundscapes in the Atlanta, GA metro area for a year and half, Ian Quiet returned to Shreveport and began working in a more dance/ industrial territory.  In 2002 Ian Quiet was comissioned to write songs for 2 fashion shows and the songs evolved into electroclash.  In 2003 Ian Quiet teamed up with Chris Alexander to begin polishing up various tracks to become the debut album.  After 3 years of playing live shows, recording sound installations and doing other fashion/ art show gigs, the debut from Ian Quiet, "Vulcan's Prayer" was released on Why The Hell Not? (www.whythehellnot.org).  In 2007, the second release, "Dancing God" was issued and Ian Quiet performed weekly at The Jackrabbit Lounge from June - September.  In 2008 Ian Quiet recorded his third album in Shreveport and Little Rock.  It was released digitally in July 2009 and physically in August 2009.  Ian Quiet is currently recording his fourth album which will be released sometime in early 2010.
