Cuz Jones

This is part where I’m supposed to be like everyone else. A place the public can know who or what Cuz Jones is. I can’t tell anyone what I hear in my head. I don’t hear music like everyone else. So my music will not sound like any you have heard. I embrace the distortion and lowfi beauty of a music from the past. Records, mixes out of balance, squelch, distortion and discoloring of sound. I have tried to make mainstream music for a long time and gave up spending weeks of my life on a mix. My music theory knowledge is none. I like sounds don’t matter if it’s singing, rapping, live instrumentation or programmed. I admire the Greatful Dead and anything that has cult following. If I had to describe what I do. I do it for me I sound like Adrenaline Rush by Do or Die mixed with Willie Nelson with the most heartfelt lyrics. Every song is about something that has happened in my life or a thought about a situation. I do not expect for everyone to like it. I know the people that have felt the pain of what I am referring will always love it. Love y’all Because I’d rather sound like me and stay here than like a faddish trend on my way down. Music is free.... Music is soul
