Cosby’s songs are reviewed as “ Effervescent, inspirational and enlightening,” by Mohawk Living Magazine, and, “Gibson continues to carve out her place in modern folk music, blending thought-provoking ideas with beautifully crafted songs." WEXT-FM Radio, Albany, NY.
She also writes and performs historic song programs with fellow musician Tom Staudle of historic songs of the Erie Canal, Adirondack Lumber Camps, Labor Unions, American Revolution, and Appalachian Mountains for libraries, museums, and historic sites. More programs are Songwriters in the Round, and Song Writing Workshops.
Cosby has developed a Patron of the Arts program through the Patreon website where listeners pledge for original songs, drawings, and videos. Funds are put toward goals such as obtaining equipment, touring, and new ideas.
Current pursuits include continuing touring with duo partner Tom Staudle in their renowned touring van (dubbed as Maggie by listeners), community involvement and benefit concerts, theater performances, and playing Old Time fiddle.
