Bio
After hearing AC/DC's "If You Want Blood...", transfixed with Angus' SG, Brad began playing guitar aged 10. He began playing live at 15 & became a touring/recording session musician/composer. Now influenced by everyone from Stevie Ray Vaughan/Gary Moore/Joe Bonamassa/Yann Tiersen/Marvin Gaye, via Air/Hendrix/Rex the Dog/Talvin Singh/Nitin Sawhney/Van Halen, he has worked with many artists and been involved with many collaborations.
Today he composes for film/tv/commercials, and is writing/producing in a variety of genres, playing regularly & broadening his style.
About
Brad toured extensively with Mike Peters (ex The Alarm) & The Poets of Justice, along with drummer Martyn Barker (Shriekback) & bassist Dave Watkins-Clarke (David Crosby) on the Exodus Tour '92, culminating in the first ever 'Gathering' held in North Wales.They also recorded several tracks at Dave Stewart/Annie Lennox's 'The Church Studios' in Crouchend, North London, produced by Alan Shacklock (The Alarm, Andrew Lloyd Weber, Jeff Beck, Roger Daltrey, Meatloaf, Nik Kershaw, Chesney Hawkes, etc.) with Eurythmics drummer/programmer, Olle Romo.
Brad's song "Burn it Down" (Instrumental) was recently chosen as 1 of 1000 worldwide (with over 400,000 submitted), to be part of the first ever 'Microsoft Windows Sponsored Songs Program', and you can download it here: http://www.myspace.com/windows?homepage=bradwilliams
