No club, no cover, no permission, just music in the streets for us all.
All proceeds from these free, live, outdoor sessions are donated to non-profits like World Central Kitchen, Maui Strong, local firefighters, Mercy Corps, women's health care services, Columbia RiverKeeper, Seva Foundation, local food programs, Habitat for Humanity. Donations also have gone directly to families in need who have lost everything in the recent wildfires.
The Blues In The Streets project is an active, positive response to some of the recent really crazy things going on in our country and the world. It's my way to bring music, and maybe a little peace and hope to people right where they are, and to tangibly help those who are in need. Performances are outside, in the broad daylight, accessible to all, and on the streets of our communities. Watch this page for upcoming dates.
Oh, and if you come by, bring your harmonica.
