Q: Love your blues stuff! Is there a typical or favorite tuning you use?

A: Thank you! This is a good question because I'm currently experimenting with some tunings that will give me greater range when playing blues on the mountain dulcimer. So far, I've been using DAD tuning but have wanted to get some more of the colors that guitarists get. I'm working with DADF# now in four-string equidistant spacing. It's similar to open D tuning for slide blues stylings.
